Why filter your RV water?

Over the years I have had numerous articles on water filtration, water quality and disinfection written your RV water system. There are many reasons to be with the water we drink, especially when it comes to RV. If you regularly travel in your RV and stopping at various destinations, nothing is known about the quality of water to drink or use. It seems that every day you hear more and more about what is in the water we drink and how theyImpact on our health. I've always been an advocate for the filtration of water in our camper, and are always looking for the best possible method of filtering water.

In October we visited the RVDA Convention / Expo in Las Vegas. Every year, suppliers to bring their goods to the Convention and the introduction of these new products for the RV industry. There are always one or two innovative products that my eye. This year was the double trap metal filter system Pure HydroTechnologies.

Water Filter

I had the opportunity to talk to Jerry Rademan, president and scientist / chemist behind the product. Jerry has a passion for drinking water and water treatment. He explained that the trap to remove metal Ultra Dual-filter system is the only commercially available system, or significantly reduce the impurities in a single system. He said. "The people at Hydro Pure Technologies to our families and our customer focus, we thinkno other food source that the health aspect of our lives impact such as drinking water! And 'our goal, the best water quality, which is commercially available to offer ".

Jerry then challenged me. He said he would give me a trap metal ultra-filter system and let me judge. What I did not know at that time was that we have recently moved into a new home, where the water has a smell and a taste that you do not want to drink it straight from the tap. And if someone knewwhen the filter works, my wife and my 13 year old son, who constantly talk about the water quality in our home would be.

Shortly after his return from the convention, I received two metal double trap water filtration systems. I decided that more than 14,000 gallons voted, which evaluates to install on our drinking water at home and 6000 gallons for the water supply system on our campers. The installation was easy, especially for campers. The installation of our house neededa trip to Lowes for some additional plumbing to tie it to the existing water system.

The thing I like the trap metal dual-system is that it is good for both water and city water works, so it only makes sense, it would be great for RV applications. Filter metals such as iron, manganese and copper, and also removes hydrogen sulfide, the smell of rotten eggs can be found in most water sources, good causes. Filter also out chlorine, chlorineorganic compounds that cause cancer and remove drug residues, pesticides and herbicides, which make their way into our city to find drinking water.

The ultra-metal dual-trap system works on the chemical oxidation, absorption and ion exchange aids that remove and trap these metals and other undesirable impurities. Most of the other filters work on a physical strain on the water does not remove the contaminants that dissolve in water. If the water inOxidized metal filter trap for unwanted impurities are trapped in the filter body. The activated carbon filters to taste foul and potentially harmful chemicals and pollutants. When the water reaches the second filter, passes through a filter micron sediment filters out viruses, bacteria, mud-end, non-oxidized metals and dissolved calcium particles that are larger than one micron in size.

The real test came after the system was installed and went with the flightColors. No odor and the water is too great tasting. My wife said that she lived with Jerry statement that the water is filtered through a metal trap ultra-filter system better than any bottled water and even better tasting.

Why not be the judge!
